Dr. Rachael Frazer studied dentistry in Trinity College Dublin where she was awarded the Entrance Exhibition Scholarship to Trinity College in 2004.  After graduation, she embarked on further study with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and was granted membership of the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin in 2012.  Most recently she undertook an additional year’s training in root canal treatments and successfully obtained a Further Certificate in Clinical Endodontics (root canal therapy) from the University of South Glamorgan, Wales in 2015 for root canal treatments.

She is actively involved in post graduate education with the Irish Faculty of Primary Dental Care and Post graduate Medical and Dental Board in Meath and understands the importance of ongoing education to keep up to date with the newest dental techniques. Rachael is a recognised provider of the cosmetic brace system ‘6 Month Smiles’ and enjoys using clear braces to straighten teeth in an average treatment time of 6-9 months.

Rachael has worked alongside world leaders in dentistry. She completed an additional year’s vocational training in Ireland after graduation , then moved to Cardiff for 3 years where she worked as Senior House Officers in Paediatric Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial surgery and Restorative Dentistry in the University of Wales and Royal Gwent Hospitals before moving into general dental practice. Rachael gained extensive experience in primary care practice in Ireland and Cardiff before opening Frazer Dental in 2014.

Her caring, relaxed manner makes her ideally suited to treating phobic adults and children and her aim is to help you overcome your fear of the dentist and achieve the smile you always have dreamed of.

When not working Rachael enjoys spending time with her young family as well as farming, traveling, skiing & yoga.

Brian graduated from the University of Glasgow Scotland in 2004. Having completed his dental vocational training year in Manchester, he worked as an associate dentist in Glasgow for several years. He then moved back to Ireland and became a partner in a dental practice in Northern Ireland for nearly 13 years until December 2020.

Brian joined Frazer Dental, Implants & Orthodontics in early 2021 as the main root canal dentist . He accepts referrals from his fellow dental colleagues in the surrounding area . Brian achieved a merit grade in his certificate in clinical endodontics in 2022, and is currently completing his Masters (MSc) in Endodontics at the University of Chester.

He really enjoys working as part of a large multidisciplinary team such as ours at Frazer Dental where our general and specialist dentists work alongside one another to plan the most advanced dental cases. Brian understands the overlap between general dentistry and orthodontics and implants and enjoys providing restorative treatment in conjunction with our orthodontist, oral surgeon, and implantologist at Frazer Dental.

He completed the world-renowned Paul Tipton year-long restorative dentistry course involving all aspects of smile design and cosmetic dentistry. Brian really enjoys transforming worn smiles and turning them into beautiful smiles again.

Brian is a past VT trainer of young dentists and received the MFDS qualification in 2021. He has a certificate in clinical education from Queens University, Belfast.

Brian enjoys road cycling and spending time with his wife and three children in his spare time and is proud to have completed the Ironman Mallorca in 2014.

Dr Hegarty is one of the most highly qualified orthodontists in Ireland and a valuable member of the Frazer Dental team.

He is a Consultant Orthodontist in Cork University Hospital.  He treats everyone from age 6 to 66 with braces .

He uses removable braces and functional appliances in young children to help guide jaw growth and to help prevent children needing traditional braces.

He also provides a wide range of cosmetic braces for adults. Dr Hegarty is one of the few orthodontists  in Ireland who practices lingual orthodontics ( Incognito braces ), whereby the brace is placed on the inside of the teeth making them completely hidden .

David qualified as a dentist in UCC in 1990. He spent his early years in London doing hospital oral and maxillofacial surgery in Whitechapel, Great Ormond Street, University College Hospital, and the Eastman Dental Institute. He trained as an orthodontist in Cork Dental Hospital, and qualified in orthodontics to hospital consultant level in Manchester in 1999.

He has worked as a consultant orthodontist in the Irish health service to date, training orthodontists managing cleft palate patients, jaw surgery cases, and dental implant patients as well as line managing HSE services.

He really enjoys working in private orthodontic practice to get to provide invisible lingual orthodontic treatments and perform high quality orthodontic appliance treatments. David regularly attends orthodontic courses to continually develop the work he provides.

Dr Hegarty also uses Invisalign and Clear Aligners for adults who want discreet braces which no one will notice .

Dr Clarke graduated from Dundee University in 2009.

Following this he has worked in a variety of hospital, general practice and specialist settings .

Successfully completed his DCT3 and MFDS before obtaining membership to the Royal College of Surgeon of Edinburgh in 2011. He completed a clinical MSc in Orthodontics from the University of Warwick and is currently in his final year of a 7 year PGDipOrtho to further enhance his orthodontic skill set.

Dr Clarke works with the South Eastern Trust of Northern Ireland, providing training to midwifery students in diagnosis and treatment of infant tongue ties. Repair of infant tongue ties is something Dr Clarke has a particular interest in, and is currently writing a dissertation paper on the effects and best treatment for this condition. Parents may contact us directly or request a referral from their medical provider. Assessment and treatment can be undertaken on the same day and Dr Clarke is always happy to  discuss all aspects of treatment and aftercare in full.

He is a registered provider of clear aligners for straightening teeth, alongside providing adult and child orthodontics using fixed metal or aesthetic ceramic braces. This can be paired with tooth whitening and composite bonding to achieve the best smile for each patient.

Composite bonding has become one of the biggest areas of cosmetic dentistry in recent years , Dr Clarke particularly enjoys reshaping peg shaped lateral teeth & midline diastema ( gap ) closure with composite . Dr Clarke provides the full range of composite bonding techniques including edge bonding , tooth reshaping & composite veneers .

His oral surgery clinic sees patients within Frazer Dental as well accepting referrals from other practices. Complex extractions, wisdom tooth removal and other soft tissue surgeries are undertaken with an emphasis on making the experience as gentle and comfortable for the patient as possible. Often seeing patients who have been too anxious to be seen elsewhere.

Dr Clarke believes everyone deserves to have a smile they are happy with, in a friendly and relaxed environment.

In his free time Dr Clarke enjoys spending time with his young family  & playing sports especially skiing.

Dr Eoghan McBride graduated from Queen’s University , Belfast in 2012, and has spent the last 10 years working in Liverpool and Belfast, before joining us at Frazer Dental in the summer of 2022.

He enjoys all aspects of restorative dentistry, and is constantly updating his skills, most recently completing a year long course in London with the renowned Dr Chris Orr. Dr Eoghan is up to date with all the latest and advanced techniques in dentistry such as tooth coloured crowns , composite fillings , composite veneers & porcelain veneers , bridges , tooth whitening , composite bonding and management of tooth wear / grinding.

Dr Josh is the newest member of the Frazer Dental team . Dr Josh joined our team in December 2022 and is proving a very popular dentist already . His friendly relaxed manner & his interest in farming have made him a big hit!!

Dr Josh qualified as a dentist from University of Glasgow in 2020 & he has worked as a general dentist  since then  . He obtained a prestigious B1 grade in his final examinations .  As well as dentistry he is also a sheep & beef farmer and he really enjoys the outdoor life so he spends half the week farming & the other half working with us at Frazer Dental.

Dr Josh works Tuesday ,Thursday, Friday & Saturday at Frazer Dental.  Dr Josh has a particular interest in helping nervous patients, white (composite) fillings, extractions and making full & partial dentures as well as  helping children have positive dental experiences every time.
