The following two years were spent working in the Dublin Dental Universtiy Hospital, the first as a Junior House Officer and the latter as a Senior Officer in Oral Surgery. During this time she was awarded Membership of the RCSI. She then worked for a further two years in Maxillofacial Surgery in St. James’ Hospital and, during this time was awarded a Fellowship in Oral Surgery/ Oral Medicine RCSI.
